Purpose and Mission
The purpose and mission of the Upton Fire & Rescue Department is the protection of life and property, render aid in case of an emergency or disaster to the best of our ability, and the prevention or extinguishment of all fires.
Members of the Department
All members of the Upton Fire & Rescue shall obtain 115 hour Kentucky Basic 1 Certification within 2 years of being on the department. (Either obtained by the Kentucky State 115 hour training list or by passing the IFSAC Firefighter I) and acquire and maintain a minimum of CPR/First Aid.
